Pics from Canada

Happy Hump Day readers!

This week is flying by, which is quite nice given how long last week seemed to drag on.

Last night, I had dinner with ALG and then we headed to a Lia Sophia jewelry party at LMR's.  It was a fun outing and a nice break from lesson planning.  After dinner, Bryce and I G-Chatted while I simultaneously got work done (I am a multi-tasking queen!).

I haven't mentioned it yet, but he left yesterday to head back to the mining camp he visited in July for work.  If you'll recall the mining camp is so far north that there is 6 months of light and 6 months of dark there.  When he visited in July it snowed and now it is about 0 degrees there!  He wouldn't have even been permitted on the plane without a coat and boots rated to protect in -40 degrees!  There also is absolutely no cell phone reception there, so for the next few days our communication will be limited to email and G-Chat (the internet is too slow for Skype).

Anyways, last night he sent me a few pictures from the mining camp:

Nunavik Arctic Fox
Apparently there are so many of these foxes around the camp, that they have gotten huskies to scare them off!

Tundra

His coloring is so beautiful!

Sorry for such a short post, but my life is crazy these days!  Get excited for a guest post from Claire (The Sweet Virginia Breeze) all about her needlepointing endeavors tomorrow!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
