Before I begin, I will warn you: This post is picture heavy!
Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend.
Mine was fabulous and jam packed with fun!
Friday night, Bryce and I had a double date with ALG and her beau. It was my first time getting to meet him because he lives in South Carolina and we all had such a good time!
We started the evening at one of my favorites, Mosaic!
I_C & ALG
I don't yet know his middle initial, hehe--aren't they cute?!
Notice anything different?:
Bryce FINALLY shaved (thank goodness!).
After dinner we stopped by ALG's before heading to 3 Monkeys for a drink! While there, I gave ALG her birthday present. She recently moved out of her parents' and into an apartment, so I wanted to get her something she could put up in the new apartment. I found the cutest Mary Tooker print at Tweed.
The one I gave her looks like this, however, rather than being personalized for Richmond, it's personalized with Virginia words, such as "RIVAH", "BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS", "CARDINAL", and "PEANUTS" to name a few!
We took a customary picture with this polar bear which is right down the street from 3 Monkeys!
The four of us had so much fun and all wish I_C lived here so that we could all hang out more often!
Saturday, Bryce and I headed to Wintergreen Resort. SEG has a house there and was so nice to invite us up for the weekend. It was Bryce and I's first trip together and we had a really great time.
We jump started the evening with some apple pie shooters.
We then played lots and lots of Catch Phrase and some Water Pong.
our wonderful hostess and her man!

Sunday morning we had a hearty breakfast and went for a scenic walk around the neighborhood.
SEG's favorite spot!
Gorgeous views!
When we got back to the house, Bryce asked me to take a picture of him with Warren, SEG's pit bull. I teased him about it, but am pretty in love with the picture!
Isn't my boyfriend adorable?
We then decided to head to the lodge and were so happy we did. There was an Arts & Crafts festival going on and we had so much fun browsing all of the tents--there was even a chocolate tasting at one!
Lots to see!
This artist, Meg West, was by far my favorite--her pastoral images were gorgeous and I loved all the colors she used in her work.

JLA and her boyfriend also came up Sunday and they met us at the festival. The six of us enjoyed the ski lift rides that were also offered as part of the Labor Day festivities.
Finally, we ended our time at Wintergreen with a hike.
The beginning!
JLA's boyfriend is really into photography and I can't wait to see all the shots he got!
GORGEOUS!
Bouncy Bridge
Our destination--a gorgeous waterfall!
At the top of the falls!
I LOVE this picture I snapped of Bryce!
After the hike, Bryce and I headed back to Richmond. Sadly, he had to leave for Massachusetts yesterday for a big work project and won't be back until September 16. I'm glad we were able to get some quality time together, though, before he left.
How was your Labor Day? What did you do?
Have a great day!
