Ask Allie

TGIF!!  Despite another great week with the Cuties, I am so glad it is the weekend!  This weekend I don't have anything planned and I'm really excited about it!  I'm going to get a lot of little "to-dos" that have been piling up done, relax, and hopefully catch up on some of my blog reading!

I decided to make today's post one I've been planning to do for a while.  I've seen this on a few other blogs and thought it could be really fun!

For today's post I'm opening up the floor to all of you to ask me any and all questions you may have. They can be just simple questions about me, my views on things, advice, ANYTHING!  Nothing is off limits (and if for some reason I get a question that would qualify as off limits, I will simply ignore it!).

I'm going to accept questions for the next week or so via comments or emails to sundressesandsmiles@gmail.com.  Once I've gotten enough questions, I'll do a post with my answers and if some questions lead to their own post, I'll use them for that as well!

Have a fabulous weekend and ASK AWAY!

Here is my question: Why did you decide to be a teacher? What age would you prefer to teach?

  17. congrats on your new venture!

question wise (since this year i have to apply to university), why did you choose UVA and your major? obviously, i'm sure it's because you want to be a teacher, but was there a specific reason for your choices, instead of other universities and their programs?

  19. Last summer I saw a pink Mary Kay Escalade on the Vineyard. I ran down the street to take a picture. It had me thinking I should sell! I love the eyeliner and mascara.

  20. This is a lovely idea!
The lady down the street from me, Cindy, growing up sold Mary Kay and had a Pink Cadillac! I wanted to sell Mary Kay when I was younger...but I don't think I have the selling gene! Good luck!
HM my question would be...What is your favorite song that captures the essence of summer!?

  29. Good for you, embracing a little side line with Mary Kay. She was from my hometown of Dallas...so I've seen my share of pink cadillacs. (Do they still give those away to top sellers?)

And, margaritas are my thing too!!! Cheers, Allie!

  30. Hey! Just wanted to respond to your comment on my blog since I figure you will def see it here ;) I jump rope about 6-7 minutes right now. I actually count the jumps (until I get the hang of it and then I'll just time it). Right now I do between 500-600, but once I get to 1000 I will just start timing. My goal is to do 10-15 minutes every day. Let me know if you start jumping!

  31. You two girls are so cute! Mary Kay has been around forever so that says something really positive about the products. All you will need to do is wear the make up and everyone is going to buy it because they are going to want to look like you! I think if you really like the product you sell it without even meaning to! Good luck w/ your new venture. xo
