Lip Gloss Love

I've never been a lip gloss/lipstick kind of girl.  I just really don't like the feel of it on my lips:  It either dries them out, makes them sticky, or just feels heavy.

I live by my Rosebud Minted Rose Lip Balm.  It keeps my lips from getting chapped and also adds a little shine. 

I've recently had a change of heart though.  Don't get me wrong, I still LOVE, my Rosebud, but I now have a lip gloss mistress: Clinique Long Last Glosswear.

The affair all started last weekend when I got this free gift at the Nordstrom Clinique--inside was my new love!

The gift included two shades (Bamboo Pink and Stellar Plum) of the Long Last Glosswear.  I think the Stellar Plum was made for me!

In person it's a big more red/burgundy

This lipgloss still has the thick, sticky feeling I can't stand, but it's worth it!  The Stellar Plum seems to match my natural lip color and makes my lips look extra plump and a little shiny.

Let me preface this picture by saying that I abhor kissy face/pouty pictures, BUT, I made the sacrifice for you, my readers, so that you could see the pout with this lipgloss, haha!

I love it so much I find myself putting it on even when I'm in my pajamas just because I like to look up in the mirror and see my lips in it, ha!

And the kicker is, it's only $14!  I'm going to use the heck out of my little sample, but once I run out I will be making my way over to Clinique to stock up on more!  It comes in 17 shades which you can see here, though I recommend testing it at the Clinique counter because I don't think those little swatches are the most accurate.
