Spring Blooms

Happy Hump Day readers!

I sure am hoping the saying about March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb is going to come true this year. We had some gorgeous weather last week, but this week things have been dreary and cold again! I am ready for April!

Despite the cold, some blooms are still starting to pop up in our yard. I can't wait for everything to come out (especially my grandmother's peonies and irises). Until everything else decides to pop up, I guess gazing at beautiful blooms online will have to suffice...


And here's a look at some of the flowers from our own personal garden from springs and summers past:







And about 99% of that beauty is all thanks to Bryce....I have a pretty black thumb!

  1. Oh how I wish I had a green thumb - I have been attempting to keep an air plan alive for the last couple months, it look so sad! I would love a garden but not sure I would love the work! Yours is beautiful!!!

  3. I have a black thumb as well. My mom always comes in a helps with my window boxes. I just bought some cut daffodils around the house.

  5. Gorgeous!! Nothing is blooming here yet but it should soon. I really want to focus on our gardens this year but I don't really know where to start. I have a bit of a black thumb.

  6. Ahhh, i love fresh flowers!!! I am envious of all of your blooms. I also do NOT have much of a green thumb. We're going to try to plant a few blooming trees this Spring. We'll have to see!

  7. I love fresh flowers and the color that they bring once spring finally comes to stay! I think it will be June up here before we finally see some signs of flowers ;)

  15. Allie those peonies!!! I am obsessed! When we get a house the first thing I wanna do is grow a garden :) maybe even veggies like my grandpa did! Such a cute activity y'all have! :)
