Super Social Weekend

Happy Tuesday readers!

I had the BEST first day of school yesterday.  I adore the kiddies in my class--there are so many cute, sweet, well-behaved little dears in my classroom.  I already feel like I have connected and bonded with so many of them and can't wait to get to know them all more!  I also can't wait to have some funny stories to share with you, because, being with a class of first graders (10 boys and 5 girls) is sure to provide lots of laughs!

Now onto today's post-- a recap of my weekend!  The title of this post explains my weekend well.  I love to go out and do things, but I'm also someone that equally loves a night spent in as much as a wild one out on the town.  This weekend, however, was super social for me and so much fun!

Friday night, JLA, SEG, and I had girls' night #2!  We went out for margaritas and then did some bar hopping.  One of JLA's college friends that I had never met before also joined us and I LOVED her so we have decided she will be coming to our girls' nights more often!

we saw this crazy van while we were out!

After dinner we headed to 3 Monkeys, one of my favorite Richmond bars!

Saturday I rested up and then that night, Bryce and I went to dinner with my parents so that he could meet them.  We went to one of my favorites, Mosaic (which I've posted about here).  Our meals were delicious and the meeting could not have gone better.  My mom and Bryce bonded over their mutual love for bourbon and my dad and Bryce bonded over their shared love of teasing me.  After dinner we had planned to just go home and watch a movie but decided we were in the mood to go out.  We ended up going over to JLA's to hang out with she and her boyfriend.

Finally, Sunday we had a triple date cookout with none other than...JLA and SEG!  Bryce loves to have people over and I love entertaining so it was a lot of fun and the perfect way to spend my last night before the first day of school.

In all honesty, I was probably up a little too late for a school night, but the triple date cookout was well worth it and a Coke in the morning provided the energy I needed to make it through a fabulous first day!

How was your weekend?  Are you doing any fun things to wrap up your summer?
