Loving...Fall Fashion Edition

Happy Labor Day weekend readers!

I can't believe that teacher work week is already ending and my new babies will be coming on Tuesday!!!

Today I am loving that fall is just around the corner!  I am ready for cooler temps, beautiful leaves, pumpkin season, and more.  That being said, I thought today's loving could be a fall fashion edition.  I'll be sharing some of my favorite picks for fall this year!

I am obsessed with vests for fall AND winter, and adding a stripe to just about anything is a good idea in my book!

I have been kicking myself for months over not scooping these up during a huge TB sale last spring.  I live in flats and these would be cute with a tee shirt and jeans or dressed up.  AND friends, with the code LABORDAY you can now get up to 30% off at Tory Burch!

I wanted leather leggings or jeans in a big way last year, however, since I was in the process of losing weight I didn't want to order a pair and then not be able to wear them again this year.  Now that I have exceed my goal weight (I'm 32 pounds down, by the way!!!) I think it may be the time to splurge on these babies!

Boden Champagne Faux Fur Vest
Did I mention I love vests?  At $68, this Boden Girls vest is a steal!  I am thinking of ordering it in a size 16 and hoping for the best!

And finally, nothing says fall more than a big comfy sweater, here are two I am really digging!

This sweater is the epitome of chic, but I guarantee it is also super cozy!

And she's on sale for $74.98!

To end with an e-card, this sums it up...

Bye Bye Bikinis!

Last but not least, I'm happy to announce that Celeste is the lucky winner of my Shabby Apple giveaway!

Have a fabulous holiday weekend!

Loving...

Happy Friday chickadees!

Had a good week?

I can't believe my last week of summer is officially over and that I've already begun setting up my classroom.  I'm actually very excited about the upcoming school year, but also, wouldn't mind another week or two of vacay...preferably on an exotic island somewhere!

I've decided to make this "Loving..." post a normal thing.  It's a fun post for me to do and also provides some continuity on the blog!

So without further adieu, this is what I'm loving this week:

The Virginia version is definitely on my birthday wishlist (is it too early to start a birthday wishlist?)

I love snuggling under a cozy blanket and this one is too cute for words!
By the way, I'm also loving the ENTIRE Hattan Home website!

Need I say more?

During my parents' move I found a horseshoe that was a party favor from my little cousin's birthday ages ago.  I've been planning to spray paint it and was deciding between hot pink, turquoise, or gold- this has me sold on gold!  Now I just need to decide if I want to mount it above a doorway or use it as a tabletop accent...

Gingham + A Monogram?
YES PLEASE!

And finally, I'm loving this...

What have you been loving this week?

Have a great weekend!

P.S. Don't forget to enter my Shabby Apple giveaway here!

Mudroom Inspiration

Happy Monday loves!

I am happy to report that I am OKAY!  My ultrasound showed a perfectly healthy gallbladder and all labs came back normal...looks like I just had a bad case of acid reflux, shew!  What a relief!

Those of you who follow me on Instagram know that I have been tackling quite a few projects at Bryce's house this summer.  I honestly may have bit off a little more than I can chew, BUT, one idea always leads to another and I seem to have a hard time focusing on just one thing at a time.  The major projects of the summer revolve around three rooms:  the sunroom, the office (now TV room), and the mudroom.

Well, they're all coming along, but I am proud to report that one is ALMOST finished...the mudroom!  Our mudroom also houses the washer and dryer.  Up until now it has basically been a laundry/storage space.  We have reorganized to make it both more pleasing to the eye and more useful.  At this point, all is complete, except one corner of the room I am trying to figure out.  It has some shelving on the walls and I currently have a hamper on the floor.  I feel like more could be done with this space, however, so I went to the one and only Pinterest for inspiration.

Here's what I'm liking...

Wow..who wouldn't love this!
The set-up of our mudroom definitely isn't conducive to painting, BUT, I am liking all the hooks and thinking some hooks could be just the thing for my corner!

Wow!
Our little corner definitely wouldn't have room for all this, however, maybe instead of having 3 as shown above, we could make just one of these and utilize the current shelves?  There's some piping near the floor that could interfere, but this could at the least provide a little inspiration...

This laundry room belongs to one of my favorite bloggers, Katie of Miss Dixie!  I'm loving her use of baskets and a cork board in the room.  There are 3 shelves existing in the space.  One currently has vases on it and I want to keep those there.  I was thinking maybe the other could house a basket or two and the top could provide a ledge for a cork board...

So now friends, here is the corner I'm working with:

There is a third shelf you can just barely see at the top of this pic.
As you see, piping gets in the way near the floor.
I'm thinking of removing that towel rack and adding some hooks in its place?
Perhaps a taller bin/hamper for the spot?
A bench like in the 2nd inspiration photo?

Thoughts?  Ideas?

Do you have a laundry room in your house or just a closet with your washer and dryer?

How do you keep it all organized?

Have a great Monday and come back Wednesday for a GIVEAWAY!!!

Loving...

Hey loves!

Sorry it's been quiet over here.  Things have been crazy since returning from the beach. My grandmother spent about a week in the hospital (she is going to be okay), my dad had a birthday, I've continued to work on projects around the house, and now I think I may be having gall bladder issues, ugh!  This morning I have an ultrasound and had tons of tests run yesterday, so please send positive vibes my way.  I have never had any surgery and am petrified about the fact that surgery is a possibility (it's the worst case scenario, so I'm trying to stay positive!).  Anyways, all that is why I haven't been around much in the blogosphere these last two weeks.

I do have a giveaway in the works that I had planned to post this week, however, it's just going to have to wait.  For a fun post today, however, I will share some things that have caught my fancy lately!

I am really loving the Lilly fall collection, but this dress is by far my fave-- it is so feminine and sweet!
I also have my eyes on this and this from the collection!

I have always loved these lights and think that one would be the perfect addition to Bryce's kitchen...even better, he approves!

I love, love, love my current brown riding boots, but I've had them for nearly 5 years so I am definitely in need of a new pair.  I think I may splurge on these this fall!

One word:  CUTE!

This has been my favorite nail color of the summer!

When Bryce was in London he got a fancy schmancy umbrella...ever since he has been wanting to get an umbrella stand and I think this is the perfect one!

What's been on your radar lately?

Have a great day!
